I am a Master Celebrant - meaning I am trained and qualified in all modalities - Namings, Weddings and Funerals. We are independent celebrants that are trained in creative writing and skills relevant to the law, religious concepts, non religious concepts, symbolic elements.
We have flexibility, no script restrictions, and are adaptable. We are not tied to Councils or Humanist UK. We are self employed.
For Funerals we can tailor the needs of the individual by adding music, personal stories, tributes via a display of photographs, poems, singers, a band, musicians of all kinds. Fancy dress themes, favourite colours of the person you are honouring and even include pets and children.
We are not legal currently however this is in Parliament and is being discussed for Reform.
(I trained with the Academy of Modern Celebrancy - with distinction).
We can work directly with clients, venues, suppliers and funeral directors to write personal unique ceremonies with no restrictions on time, venue or location.
We offer story led wedding ceremonies too to tell your love story by wonderful story telling. Completely client-focused.

Funerals
Takes place at a crematorium or graveside
The body (or ashes) is present
Follows a more traditional structure
Celebration of Life
Can happen anywhere: a garden, a hall, a favourite space or place in nature, a favourite pub, beach
Usually happens after the funeral, or sometimes instead of one
More flexible, personal, often longer, more intimate
Memorial
Usually happens without the body or ashes present at all
Often held some time after the death, weeks, months, even a year later (e.g. an anniversary)
Common for scattering ashes, tree planting, or simply gathering to remember someone
Tends to be shorter and simpler than a full funeral or celebration of life
In short: a memorial is the most flexible in timing and the lightest in structure, it's about remembering, not about the body or ashes being part of the ceremony itself.

I LOVE LOVE ! As a neurodivergent celebrant with a background in hypnotherapy, coaching, and holistic wellbeing, I bring a deeply personal and compassionate approach to every ceremony. I am super focused on you and your day.
Many people call me a perfectionist. I like fine detail. I take time to really listen, so your ceremony reflects who you truly are, not a one-size-fits-all script. I love to creatively write unique ceremonies.
I love people and this really helps too !
I only offer 1 ceremony per day so I can give you my full attention.
I work with you to Collaborate, with honesty, authenticity and compassion. I am here to guide you into the process, bring ideas to the table, and keep things moving.
Working with me is relaxed and unhurried. I take the time to get to know you properly before we even talk about the ceremony itself, so you feel comfortable and heard throughout. There's no pressure, just an honest, warm conversation about what matters most to you.
Whether that is for a wedding ceremony, naming or celebration of life.
As well as a coach to support you with nerves and anxiety that may arise, I work with you in collaboration to get the best results for your bespoke ceremony.

For Weddings and Vow Renewals, we offer flexible pricing based on ceremony type, budget and detail.
There are 4 tiers. 3 are in person and 1 is online.
After an initial conversation, a FREE complimentary Discovery call will be offered to you with info about the packages that may suit your needs and budget.
It is my pleasure to offer you a choice and not be ‘stuck’ with just one price.
For Funerals there is a flat rate I charge via the Funeral Director. In most cases your Funeral Director will include my fee within your overall funeral costs, so you pay them directly as part of your package, then they pay me on your behalf. Known as a disbursement.
Sometimes the family contact me directly.
For Celebrations of Life there is a slightly higher price due to more flexibility with venue, location, timing and dates.
For Memorials, Living memorials and Interment of Ashes (Scattering) there is one price.
For Namings there is one price.

Once your booking fee is paid, I'll begin working on your draft ceremony script. Full details are in the Terms and Conditions.

During a direct cremation there is usually no ceremony. The person is cremated shortly after the death.
Can be carried out at the crematorium often in the morning.
A return of the ashes are given to the family. Many families find this is a cheaper option and less formal, reducing costs overall with flowers, cars, Chapel fees, flower displays.
Also there is more flexibility with timings and location where you have more time to have the ceremony your way rather than in a crematorium where you are in a queue of people before you and after you.
No order of service. Ideal to hold a celebration of life or scattering ceremony later on. See pricing for further information
There is less urgency for the service and more time and costs spent on other things.
Interment of ashes - sometimes families can combine a direct cremation and interment of ashes together.
Interment of ashes where they are buried or placed in a grave or memorial garden.
